Change the PHP version

Per domain, open Settings in the dashboard, choose the PHP version you need, and save.

Many applications need a specific PHP version. In the dashboard you set the version per domain – no server access and no support ticket required.

Requirements

  1. An active hosting account
  2. At least one domain under Domains

Available versions depend on your hosting. The dropdown only lists versions that are currently offered.

How to change the PHP version

1. Open Domains

Sign in to the dashboard and go to Domains.

2. Open the domain settings

Find the domain in the list and open Settings.

3. Choose the PHP version

Under General you will find PHP version.
Select the version you need from the list.

4. Save

Click Save.
The setting applies to this domain only. Other domains keep their own version.

Notes

  • Change the version deliberately: some apps or plugins require a minimum or maximum version.
  • After switching, quickly check the website.
  • Document root, aliases, and redirects live in the same domain settings – independent of the PHP version.
